The design we developed for The Savings Bank's Wakefield office was carried into this latest branch remodel. We integrated branding and retail communications into the platform, and renovated the space to promote a dialogue banking approach.
Recycler technology was installed to facilitate the implementation of the universal banker concept. This transformation lent a modern edge to the bank's signature dark red palette, flat screen displays and open-ended pod while preserving the favored traditional appearance. Graphic walls are featured in the branch to illustrate the bank’s commitment to the local community.
The hybrid pod is open on both ends and features a flat screen display positioned for customers to view as they perform transactions. We have introduced interactive kiosks with touchscreen technology to each of this client's branches that we've worked on. There are also new or rebuilt offices with glass walls adjacent to the pod on both sides for more private discussions with clients.
We also created a community room which can be accessed via a 24-hour separate entrance. The community room is a great resource for the community as it can be used by local businesses and organizations, and for community group meetings of various kinds.
The combination of pods, glass walls, new offices, branding, a community room and community themed graphics has injected a new sense of vitality that is attractive to customers and branch staff alike.
