Halloween Potlock

We are pleased to report that the first annual Halloween potluck lunch was a huge success. Allow us to set the scene:

It was a dark and stormy night. A full harvest moon was shining brightly through ominous gray clouds. In the distance we could hear the faint howl of a lone wolf pierce the deafening silence, or was that the wind? Truth be told it wasn’t dark or stormy, it was around 2:30 in the afternoon and the skies in East Hartford were pretty blue and sunny that day. And come to think of it, the only sound we heard wasn’t coming from the wind or a wolf, it was the steady hum of the noise cancelling machines we run on 2nd floor to balance the acoustics. But don’t get distracted by these pesky details. The point is that the Solidus team was ready to celebrate and the Halloween spirit was felt by all. We had several snazzy costumes including a witch, a nerd, an identity thief, a unicorn, a cop, a box of Chinese take-out and to our absolute delight, Mark Charette showed up as a fully decked construction worker, complete with tattooed arm sleeves and a serious tool belt.

We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to having an even bigger turnout next year. Next stop, Thanksgiving!
