New Annex Serves Franklin First FCU

Category: News • January 13, 2021

We are pleased to celebrate completion of a comprehensive annex expansion and renovation project for Franklin First Federal Credit Union, based in Greenfield, Mass.

The credit union’s growth created a need for more administrative space. Solidus effectively navigated issues with Covid19 and utilities to complete a 1,600 sq. ft. addition to the company’s annex. The project required a new foundation, slab on grade, and wood-framed construction. It includes an office, five workstations, a multipurpose board room, code-compliant bathrooms, a kitchenette, storage closet and new mechanicals. We invite you to check out the final product!

Michelle Dwyer, president and CEO of Franklin First, commented: “Solidus listened to our needs and understood our financial limitations. It was clear from my first conversations that we were getting an experienced team that knew every little thing that needed to be considered. Their ideas and drawings were exactly what we needed right now, but also positioned us for the future. Solidus took care of everything, from getting contractor trade bids to dealing with city permits and zoning boards. The professionalism, communication, and collaboration the Solidus team demonstrated made the experience worry free. With all the responsibilities that fall to me daily, knowing I had a team I could trust to handle the build process was invaluable. I will not hesitate to work with Solidus again in the future.”
