Challenges
- Complete design/build/furnish of NVSL's new two-story, 22,000-square-foot steel-framed building
- Maintain timeframe set by a previous builder, including approximately eight weeks of no work
- Replaced unsuitable soil and added more structurally sound material
- Incorporate high-tech security systems and banking equipment
The Solidus Approach
- Comprehensive assessment prior to breaking ground
- Site excavation and soil removal, replaced with more structurally sound material
- Construction of the interior/exterior of the building, including a new drive-through, first-level masonry work and second-level clapboard, as well as a full-service bank interior with private offices, a conference room, teller area and an ATM in the vestibule
- State-of-the-art surveillance equipment, such as security cameras, a monitoring security system and motion sensors, utilizing the latest DVD equipment
- Safety deposit vaults, cash vaults and pneumatic tubes, all specially tested to assure optimum security standards were fully met
- The integration of an architect with a considerable portfolio of similar financial products, ensuring a smooth transition from design to final construction
Results
- Despite logistical challenges, Solidus maintained the original timeframe and budget
- NSVL's president said he would turn to Solidus for all of the bank's future needs
