This extensive assessment provides invaluable information that is not usually accessible under the standard general contractor approach to business space. The assessment includes:

• Pre-Project Decision Making Support: Not sure if your project is worth pursuing, and don't want to invest a lot of time and resources to investigate its feasibility? Solidus can provide rapid up-front cost and time estimates to help you make a decision.
   
• Block Planning: Establishing the general space requirements for your company. For example, you may feel as if your budding business needs thousands more square feet of space in order to expand, yet we may discover that you need a space a fraction of that size, saving you money and increasing your productivity.
   
• Preliminary Space Planning: Determining the functionality of existing work space, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of a new construction or office location, considering traffic flow, etc.
   
• Conceptual Design: If you have not yet contracted with design or architectural professionals, we will recommend and work with the firms best equipped to address your facility's space and utilization requirements.

The seamless integration of architecture and design into a design/build/furnish project is one of our unique strengths at Solidus. Because our in-house staff works closely with our architect and design partners and understands the nuances of the A&D community, your end vision will be perfectly executed. When we help you choose an architect, we:

• Select an architect who specializes in both your industry and your project's scope.
   
• Know that the architect is equipped with the staff necessary to handle your project.
   
• Understand the fees associated with the architect's work. Solidus does not mark up the design fees of architects and designers on a project.
